WHO IS SPLATMAN?

Believe it or not, my name isn't actually splatman. My name is Zhaine, I'm 26 years old and have been tattooing for 3 years now. I'm currently a 3rd year apprentice and operate from Ink Haus Creative Studios in the Adelaide CBD.

I've been an artist most my life, beginning with graffiti and illustration at the age of 12. Progressing to social media & graphic design, 3D modelling and rendering, to finally landing on my end goal of tattooing. Name it and I've probably done it. I still dabble in some of these other medias but tattooing has truly stolen the spotlight as my passion, it's the one thing I feel I was born to do.

WHAT STYLES?

As you can see, I don't pigeon hole myself into one style or look. I am very proud of the fact that I'm an extremely versatile artist. I love tattooing anything and everything , every piece I do receives my full enthusiasm, respect and commitment to producing the best piece of art I can.

I do believe in brand identity, and as a tattoo artist this involves having a certain "niche"
My niche, consists of dark black and grey work that is mostly floral but not always, and I include ruby red accents and elements to compliment the darker tones of the piece. I aim for these pieces to be recognised as "splatman pieces"

While pursuing this niche I still love tattooing just about all styles. It can be black and grey pieces that are nice and soft like fineline, microrealism etc. Or it can be bolder styles like black and grey realism, anime, american traditional, neo trad and more.
